Christine de Jonge 89 years of age; loving wife of the late Peter (1981), dear mother of Alex and Ruth of Florida, Casey and Shirley of Nova Scotia, Leonie and Gerry Kraan of St. Catharines, Mary and Willi Ramm of Beamsville, Christine and Victor Hoaran of Millgrove, beloved Oma of Christine, Ted, Linda, Catherine, Diane, Carl, Tom, Cindy, Michelle and Courtney and great oma of many greatgrandchildren, dear sister of Edward van Hootegem and the late Emile van Hootegem both of the Netherlands, survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. de Jonge was a member of St. Alfred's Church and a long time member of St. Alfred's Catholic Womens League. Mrs. de Jonge is resting at the George Darte North Chapel, 585 Carlton St. until Friday at 9 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 9:30 a.m. with Rite of Committal in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. Visiting Hours Thursday 5-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers for the deceased will be celebrated in the funeral home on Thursday at 8 p.m. Memorial Remembrances to Hotel Dieu Oncology Department or Warehouse of Hope would be appreciated by the family.
