Obituary of Santina Tocco
TOCCO SANTINA (Jelenic) Peacefully slipped away on Friday January 25, 2002 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, 80 years of age. Beloved wife of Faro (Frank)and mother of Mary (Tony) Giordano of Niagara on the Lake, Audrey (Peter) Souliere of St. Catharines;and Nonna of Christina Giordano Survived by brothers and sisters John, Angela and Marcella Jelenic of St. Catharines Maria and the late Joakim Rusac of Croatia, Vincenzo and Laura Jelenic of Toronto, Anna and Mario Debeljuh of Croatia. Also survived by brothers and sisters in law, Rosario and the late Providenza Tocco of NOTL, Angelo and Antonietta Tocco of Brazil, Leonardo and Maria Benevento of NOTL. Always remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Mrs Tocco is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., where a service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 1:45pm. Entombment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Leukemia Research Fund of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
