Obituary of Angelo Casciato
Casciato, Angelo Antonio - On Monday February 4, 2002 at the St. Catharines Generql Hospital at 76 years of age. Beloved husband of Concetta for 57 years. Loving father of Michael and Jane, Dora and Bruce Ruch all of St. Catharines, and Rick of Vineland. Dear grandpa of Tina Casciato and husband Sean , Amy Casciato, Michael and John Ruch. Predeceased by one brother John. Survived by his sister in law Amalia Loving uncle of Robert Casciato and family, Angela Casciato, Elba Guiducci and family, Felicia Monaco and family all of St. Catharines.
Mr. Casciato retired from Direct Winters Transport in 1983, he was a member of St. Alfred's Church, Gruppo Pensionati, Associazione Nazionale Combattenti e Reduci Peninsola Del Niagara, International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local #264, Committee of Festa del Monte Carmela and was an usher at the Italian Masses.
Mr. Casciato is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Thursday at 9am. . Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 9:30am. Rite of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday 7-9 and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. . Vigil prayers for the deceased will be celebrated in the funeral home on Wednesday at .
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Liver Foundation of Ontario or Bethesda Homes, 23rd St. Group Home, would be appreciated by the family.
