Ryan, Dorothy Gordon
Peacefully after a brief illness, surrounded by her family and friends on Wednesday, February 20, 2002 at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Dorothy Ryan 60 years of age. Loving wife and best friend of Charlie, loving and special mom of Robin Dupuis of St. Catharines, Kerrie (John) Davidson of Mississauga, predeceased by her daughter Jill Marks (1991) of St. Catharines, step mother of Stephen Ryan of Port Colborne, Gerald Ryan of Oakville and Alison Ryan of Toronto, loving gramma "D" of Alicia, Spencer, Kaitlyn and Emma, loving sister of Margaret (Barry) Reynolds of Prince Edward Island. Will be sadly missed by "the happy gang" from Prince Edward Island. Dorothy was active and an avid supporter of the St.Catharines Rowing Community and the Argonaut Rowing Club. She was a past member of May Court Club and volunteer at the Niagara Penninsula Children's Center. Dorothy had worked for 18 years for Queenston Medical Labs and the last few years at Port Health Clinic.
Dorothy is resting at the George Darte North Chapel, 585 Carlton St. where a service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. with cremation to follow. Visiting Hours Friday 7-9 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Memorial Remembrances to Canadian Cancer Society or Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
