Obituary of William Frederick Fell
Fell, William Frederick
Passed away at Linhaven on Thursday, July 12, 2001 at the age of 79. Born in Vancouver to Benjamin and Gertrude Fell, he was raised in Regina. He enlisted with the RCAF in 1941 as a radar mechanic on the then top-secret defense project. Following the war he pursued his interest in the sciences by studying chemical engineering at the University of Saskatoon. He then made his career at a Thorold paper mill where he implemented pollution control programs for protecting the environment. His retirement allowed him to pursue his love of golf and one of his most prized posessions was a trophy for a hole-in-one. Missed by his family, he is survived by his wife Claire, children Susan, Sandra and Brian, and grandchildren heather and Richard.
Mr. Fell is resting at the George Darte North Chapel, 585 Carlton St. where a funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 1 p.m. with cremation to follow. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. til service time.
