Obituary of Ronald Williams

WILLIAMS, Ronald Peacefully, on September 30th, 2001 after a courageous fight with cancer. Beloved husband of Dorothy for 52 years. Loving father of Gary (Gwendy), Stephen (Jeannie), David (Patti), Suzanne (Henry) Older, and Ronda (Paul) Martin. Dear grandfather of 8. Survived by his brother Harry of Wales , sister Elizabeth of New Zealand. Predeceased by sisters Gwyenth and Olwen. Ronald was a member of Local 303 I.B.E.W. for 43 years and was a local Electrical Contractor for 23 years, retiring in 1992. Special thanks to Dr. Finlay and Hotel Dieu Oncology Staff and also the Nurses in Palliative Care. Ronald is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00am. Cremation to follow. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hotel Dieu Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
