Obituary of Doreen Iris Durritt

DURRITT, Doreen Iris (nee Brooker) "She is like a rose that slips through to the other side of the fence. She still blooms there." Peacefully, at home in St. Catharines, on Wednesday, October 2,2001. Greatly missed by her son Ray and his wife Charlene of Hamilton; her daughter Brenda Gray and her husband Harold; and her grandsons Will and Ian Bell, all of St. Catharines. Predeceased by her loving husband Bill (1998). Thank you for the special care she received from Dr. Rusnak, Dr. Kerley, and the Paramed Staff. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at Niagara Ina Grafton Gage, 413 Linwell Road, St. Catharines on Saturday October 13th at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to: Palliative Care, Hotel Dieu Hospital, 155 Ontario Street, St. Catharines, L2R 5K3; or Hospice Niagara, 205 King Street, St. Catharines, L2R 3J5 would be appreciated by the family.
