Obituary of Michael Sullivan

Sullivan, Michael Peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Wednesday, October 17, 2001, in his 70th year. Dear husband of Donna. Loving father of Linda & her husband Mike Ciesla, Pat & his wife Denise, Dan, Sean, and Cindy. Proud Poppa of grandaughters Nicole, Kaitlin, and Brittany. Mike is survived by his sister Joan & her husband Alan Walsh, brothers Paul and wife Lauren, and Frank and wife Rosemary. He was predeceased by his sister Peggy and her husband Ernie, and by his mother Agnes and father John. Mike is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. Mike was employed by Royal Insurance and General Accident Assurance before retiring in 1994. He was a member of St. Alfred's Holy Name Society. Mike is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., until Saturday at 9am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 9:30am. Rite of Committal will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 6:30-9pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 7pm. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Vienna, McMaster and St. Catharines General Hospitals and also to Werner and Karen of Thomas Cook Tours for their care and compassion.
