Obituary of Filippo Volo

VOLO, Filippo Died peacefully, surrounded by his family on Sunday, November 18th, 2001 at the Scarborough General Hospital at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Angela. Loving father of Sara (Carmelo) Scaglione, Josie (Giuseppe) Troccoli, and John Carl Volo. Dear Nonno of Lucia (Gordon) Cukierski, Joseph (Michelle) Scaglione, and Carlo & Paul Troccoli. Filippo will be missed dearly and forever be in our hearts. Mr. Volo is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Thursday at 9:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church on Thursday at 10:00am. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 7-9pm and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:30pm.
