Obituary of Clifford Francis Gomes Jardim

Jardim, Clifford Francis Gomes On Sunday morning January 14, 2001 at the St. Catharines Hotel Dieu Hospital, in his 73rd year. Clifford passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends. Clifford will be sadly missed by his loving wife Caroline and 6 children, Brian & Karen Jardim with grandson Kody. Cynthia & David Livingstone with grandsons David and Mitchell. Sherry & Serge Albi with grandchildren Jacquline, Jonathon, Jullian, and Joline. Micheal & Jaana with grandchildren Danielle, Nicole, and Erikson. Andrea Johnston & John Dix with grandchildren Brooke, Taylor, and Logan. And his son Tim. Clifford will be sadly missed by his sister Shirley & Harvey Jensen. He graduated from McGill University completing his Electrical Engineering degree in 1952. In 1970 he completed the Advance Management Program at Harvard University. Clifford worked for Phillips Cables for 36 years, progressing from Sales Engineer to President and CEO in 1984. He retired in 1990 and enjoyed time spent here in St. Catharines in the summer and Bonita Springs, Fla.in the winter with Caroline, playing golf, oil painting, and boating. Mr. Jardim is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, ON., until Wednesday where a Funeral Liturgy without mass will be celebrated in the chapel at 1:30pm. Interment to follow. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate contributions be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
