Obituary of Giovanni Miele

MIELE, Giovanni On Wednesday, April 11th, 2001 at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Maria. Dear father of Antonio (Mary), Frank, and predeceased by his daughter Albina. Dear Nonno of Lauren and Johnathon. Survived by his brother Pasquale (Maria) of St. Catharines, and 5 sisters & 1 brother in Italy. Predeceased by his brother Giuseppe of Argentina. Giovanni will be sadly missed by many brother-in-laws & sister-in-laws, nieces & nephews, cousins, and friends. He was a member of St. Alfred's Church and was a retiree of Newman Steel. Mr .Miele is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Monday at 10:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church on Monday at 11:00am. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visitation Saturday and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 3pm.
