Obituary of Hildegard Vollmer

Vollmer, Hildegard (nee Schmidt) - Resting now in the arms of Jesus, on Wednesday June 12, 2013 at Heidehof Home at the age of 83. Predeceased by her husband Heinz (1996) of 46 years, and her son Norman (1952). Loving mom of Heidi (Elhami) Shetta, and Gordon (Deborah). Cherished and beloved Oma of Sarah, Daniel, Haneia, and Adam. Devoted sister of Siegbert (Suzan) Gerber. Special aunt of Lukas (Susan), and Annemarie. Hildegard was very devoted to her church and a long time serving choir member. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Sunday between 1-3pm. Funeral Service will take place at Grace Lutheran Church, 213 Linwell Road, on Monday at 11am with visitation an hour prior to service. Burial will take place at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Lutheran Women's Missionary League Canada or Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary - St. Catharines in Hildegard's honour.
