Obituary of Edith Marie Huish

HUISH, Edith Marie- (nee Ferguson) It is with great sadness but also a comfort to learn of Edith's passing on Friday June 14th, 2013 just days shy of her 86th birthday. Predeceased by her loving husband Wesley (2008) of 54 yrs., brothers Bob & Carl and dear sisters Louise & Ethel. Loving mother to sons Kenneth and Eddy (Maggie) of Calgary and her daughters Sandi Huish (Jim) of Guelph, Colleen (Michael) Konigshaus & Judy ( Paul) Konigshaus of St. Catharines. We love you Mom. You will be greatly missed! Loving, wonderful Gramma to Jason, Michelle & Ryan (Konigshaus), Christopher (Huish) and Alex & Brooke (Konigshaus). You will always & forever hold a special place in each of our hearts. Great-gramma to Lauren, who brought her great joy. She is survived by Beatrice, Charlie & Gary. Lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family & friends. To all the wonderful staff @ West Park Health Center, we couldn't have asked for better care! They will certainly miss her "SMILES". Edith was a long standing member of the U.C.W. @ St. Paul St. United Church (Silver Spire). She is now resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Service in the chapel on Friday, June 21st 10:30 am. Burial in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in memory of Edith would be appreciated by the family.
