Obituary of Helen Patricia Gauvreau
GAUVREAU, Helen (nee Williamson) Peacefully on Wednesday, June 19th at Garden City Manor at the age of 75. Cherished wife for 54 years of Al "Roger" and loving mother of David, Danny (Donna) and Michelle (Darren) Mutch. Much loved grandmother of Jessica, Lucas, Matthew, Cidney, Kyle and Alicia. Also survived by son Mark, the extended Gauvreau family, sister in law Shirley Williamson, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her brother Jimmy Williamson. Helen loved being surrounded by friends and family at the family cottage and spent her time singing and playing the guitar to anyone who would listen. Her beloved voice will also be missed by the staff and residents of Garden City Manor. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Helen's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, June 21st from 7-9pm and Saturday, June 22nd from 11am-12pm with a service to celebrate her life following in the funeral home chapel. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
