Obituary of Filippo Tanga

TANGA, Filippo- Passed away on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2013 at the St Catharines General Hospital at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Agnesa. Cherished father of Grazia (Antonio) Celetti and Nunzio (Francesca) Tanga. Cherised Nonno of Rosa (Alfredo) Paladino, Gaetano (Kamellah) Celetti, Agnesa (Jeff) Duemo, Gaetana (Gianni) Cipriano and Diana (Gilberto) Ovalle. Great grandfather of Alberto, Anna Maria, Amanda and Alicia Paladino, Cole Millard, Anthony Celetti, Taiya Ovalle and Isabella Francesca Duemo. Filippo is survived by his sister Antonietta Tanga of Italy. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. & 6-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place on Thursday at 7p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church on Friday at 10a.m. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
