Obituary of Douglas Billard

BILLARD, Captain Douglas- Passed away on Wednesday, July 10th, 2013 at his residence at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Florence. Cherished father of Scott (Joyce) Bartlett, Ike Bartlett, Jim(Patricia) Bartlett and Douglas (Melissa) Billard. Loving Grandad of James, John-Scott, Emma, Adam, Edward, Katie, Tyler, Jessica, Noelle, Ryan and Emily. Great grandfather of Aden, Reed and Cedar. He is survived by his brother Josh. Doug was an avid gardener and wine connoisseur. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, July 12th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m.A Celebration of Doug's Life will take place on Saturday, July 13th at 9:30a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
