Obituary of Rita Agnew

AGNEW, Rita (nee Munkittrick) - Passed away on Saturday, July 20th, 2013 at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 96. Beloved husband of the late Robert Grant of Montreal (1953). Predeceased by her second husband James Agnew (1983). Cherished mother of Norman ( Eleanor) Grant of Ottawa and Donald (Peggy) Grant of Vancouver. Loving grandmother of Susan (Donald) Flowers of Ottawa, Steven (Kristi) Grant of St. Catharines, Jonathan (Alexa) Grant of Vancouver and Caroline Grant of Burlington. Great grandmother of Alisha Flowers of Ottawa and Tyler Grant of St. Catharines. Rita is predeceased by her brother Wilfred Munkittrick and her sister Marion Knox. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St Catharines on Tuesday from 12p.m.- 2p.m. A graveside service will follow at 2:30p.m. on Tuesday at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens in Fonthill. Memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
