Obituary of Sandra Patterson

PATTERSON, Sandra- (July 27, 1940- July 20, 2013) -Passed away in her 73rd year, after a battle with Cancer at Shaver Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Albert Patterson. Cherished mother of John (Donna) Patterson, Daniel (Sandra) Patterson and Lea-Anne (Joe) Lavoie. Loving grandmother to Sarah, Jillian, Jordan and Jacob Patterson and Brittany and Robert Coakley. Great grandmother to Stone, Jayden, Micah and Willow. She is survived by her brother Michael Kirby and his wife Ginny. Sandy was employed with the St. Catharines Standard for 15 years and also enjoyed ceramics. After Al's passing, Sandy was taken care of by Sugar and Shirley Labonte. Thank you for taking such great care of Mom. A special thank you to Dr. Denis Whitty for always being there for Mom. Sandy is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 6-9p.m. A Graveside Service will take place on Wednesday at Victoria Lawn Cemetery at 9:30a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Mass Cards would be appreciated by the family.
