Obituary of Italia Perilli

PERILLI, Italia (nee Costantini) While residing at Linhaven Home, Italia passed away with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, July 31st at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband Frank, daughter Lidia Capacchione-DeSimone (Phil) and son in law Benito Capacchione. Cherished mother of Liliana (Peter) Marrone, Edda (Emidio) Iezzi and Tony (Kathy) Perilli. Loving Nonna to 12 and Ninni to 20. She was also predeceased by her brother Carmen (the late Ersilia), sisters Antonietta and Maria (the late Natalino). She is lovingly remembered by her brothers Fred (Filomena) and Alfonso (Maria), sisters Carina and Madalena in Italy, many brothers and sisters in law, and a large extended family with many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all. Italia was a founding member of Club Roma and cherished her time with the Club Roma Choir. The family extends sincere thanks to Dr. Wong, and the entire staff and volunteers at Linhaven for their compassionate care. Mrs. Perilli's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, August 1st from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, August 2nd at St. Alfred's Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street at 9:30am. Entombment will follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday at 3pm. If desired, memorial donations to Linhaven Home Auxiliary or Wellspring Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
