Obituary of Antonio Del Priore

Del Priore, Antonio - On Thursday August 1, 2013 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 80 years with his beloved family by his side. Loving husband to Angela (nee Ricciardi) for 55 years. Devoted father to Felice (Lena), Domenic (Giovanna), Mario (Rosetta), Giovanni (Emily). Cherished Nonno to Angela, Anthony (Alexandra), Roberto, Antonietta, Vanessa, Michael, Anthony, Michael, Alexandra, Alexia and Gianluca. Devoted brother to Vito and Carmela of Italy and many family members. Predeceased by his brothers Giuseppe and Salvatore. Antonio moved to Canada with his wife in 2001 to be closer to his children. He enjoyed being in the garden, time with his family, playing the accordian and woodworking. Antonio's presence will greatly missed during the many family gathering's. His memory will live forever in our hearts. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Sunday from 2-5pm and Monday 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 2pm. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street, on Tuesday at 9:30am with entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Catharines General Hospital - Walker Cancer Centre in Antonio's honour.
