Obituary of Reuben Otto Johanson

Johanson, Reuben - After celebrating 90 marvelous years, Reuben Otto, Johanson passed away on Saturday August 3, 2013 at Linhaven Home. Predeceased by his first wife Marjorie (1990) and brothers and sisters. Loving and devoted husband of 14 years to Pearl. Cherished step-father of Nathan (Kathy), Charlene (Boris). Papa of Sandor (Leah), Nathan Jr. (Mary), Brandon (Val), Justin (Tammy), and Natasha. Very proud great grandfather of Finn and Bree. Survived by his sisters Ellen and Carolyn, brother George, many nieces and nephews and family members. Reuben was a member of the Bruce Trail for over 50 years, volunteered at the Red Cross, member of Bethel Baptist Church Seniors Group, and an avid woodworker. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Wednesday from 7-9pm and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Funeral Service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church on Thursday at 11am with burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Charity of One's Choice in Reuben's honour. "That we should live so long"
