This generation of Ukrainians were a hardy bunch, and we shall be ever grateful for their tenacity in life and their efforts during WWII. Heartfelt condolences to the whole extended Rekulak family from Mychajlo Ilkiw in Brooklyn, Ny and the entire Cannon family in Franklin Square, Long Island, Ny. Your father/dad/dido was a one of a kind great, funny and generous sole. The world has lost a hero, a patriot and a great man. God bless him and may he rest peacefully with his beloved wife Maria.
