Obituary of Bill Novak

NOVAK, Bill "Mr. Bill" January 07, 1926- September 10, 2013 As morning light broke and surrounded by his loving family, Bill journeyed from earth to be in the presence of his Lord. Forever loved by his wife of 65 years, Kay. Cherished father of Karen (George) Thorpe, Jodie (Paul) Candler and Daryl (Diana). Proud Grandpa of Jeremy (Tracy), Jonathon (Janette) and Geoffrey (Lauma). Adored Geido of Jayden, Trent, Chad, Edvard, Rebecca and Allyson. Prior to being diagnosed with MS, Bill was a machinist and owner of Great Canadian Pizza Company in Niagara Falls. For the last 18 years Bill's home was at Tabor Manor Nursing Home. Bill met life's challenges with his quick wit, the twinkle in his eye and his strong faith. We are grateful for the loving care given by the Tabor Manor staff. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton, on Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at Glenridge Bible Church , 310 Scott St., on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. Family and friends are invited to honour Bill by wearing his favourite colour, red. A private family inurnment will be held at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Bethany Kids Hospital in Kijabe, Kenya or The Gideons International in Canada.
