Obituary of Peter Klassen

KLASSEN, Peter With his family by his side, Peter passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital- NHS on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at the age of 88. Predeceased by his loving wife Susanna (2006). Beloved father of Rosemary Dutton and the late Mel Dutton (1999), and Victor and his wife Victoria. Cherished Opa of Miranda and her husband Adam Veide, Meghan and Kendra. Peter will be greatly missed by his fiancée Kathe Penner, who shared so much love and happiness with Peter in his last few years. Peter is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Monday, September 30 from 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Peter's life will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the St. Catharines United Mennonite Church, 335 Linwell Rd. Burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
