Obituary of Rosalina Gaba (nee Ching)

GABA , Rose (nee Ching) Passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully, on Sunday, September 29th at the Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 66. Devoted mother of Geraldine-Marie "GiGi" (Andrew) Fretz and cherished Lola of Keagan and Kiera-Rose Fretz. Loving sister of Jose (Freda) and Elma (Terry) of the Philippines, and Norma (Antonio), Rolando (Conchita), Fernando (Josephina), George (Erlinda) and Jaime (Jackie) of Canada. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Rose's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. on Saturday, October 5th and Sunday, October 6th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church on Monday, October 7th at 11am. Cremation will follow the service. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Sunday at 3pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
