Obituary of Nancy Lynn Merritt
Merritt Nancy (nee: Santry) Passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, October 4th, 2013, at 68 years of age. Cherished wife of Bruce for 50 years. Loving mother of Blake and Karen and devoted grandma of William and Breanna. Dear sister of Nora Patterson, Chris and Linda, Joe and Maria, Elizabeth and Gary Williams, Edward and Sandy, Tim and Sandy, Sister in law of Dorothy and Henry Boland, Melvin and Margaret Merritt and their families. Predeceased by her parents Jim and Molly and her sister Tammy Anne.
After 30 dedicated years of creating By Nanci crafts in partnership with Bruce, Nancy will be remembered for her creativity, artistry and devoted involvement in the crafter's circle.
Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Nancy's life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Niagara Health System, St Catharines Site, towards the Walker Family Cancer Centre, would be appreciated by the family.
