Wendy, we are so sorry to learn of Paul's sudden passing. It is so hard to fathom especially since we saw him so recently. We will have fond memories of the times we spent with both of you here in the Sault and in Waterloo. Don't let his passing stop you from visiting. Just know that we are thinking of you often and praying for peace for you. May you find some measure of comfort knowing that others care.

Receive Lord, in tranquility and peace, the souls
of your servants who have departed out of this
present life to be with You. Give them the life that knows no age, the good things that do not pass
away; through Jesus Christ our Lord

My sincerest condolences and sympathy for Wendy in her recent loss, my thoughts and prayers for all Paul's immediate and extended family, the boys Jonathan, Gareth Guy and Joel and all who knew and loved my Brother.
So sad and eternally sorry that I did not get to see Paul after he moved to Canada nor the opportunity to meet his new wife, Wendy.
All my thoughts and prayers for the Family at this time, I have asked my local Priest to offer up a mass in Paul's memory.
May he rest in peace,

Wendy I can not find the words to comfort you in your loss. Paul changed who you are and your love of life. He was an ambassador for mother nature and passionate in everyday life. He completed you! We had such a short time knowing Paul yet he was able to fill our time with special memories. His apatite for life was unsurpassed. He was always entertaining and able to express his opinion clearly. A great conversationalist who often had an audience listening to tales of his travels and world history. I will miss my fishing buddy! Lise and I send our love and support in your time of greatest need. Stay Strong for Paul.
Love Colin Glassford
Friend for life!

I'll remember you for your love of nature and steam trains. You got your wish to finally be truly happy in the country you loved.
I know I have never been a great son but in my own way i'll remember you. If you taught me anything it was to take pride in whatever I set my mind to. Say hello to grandad for me and tell your mum I wish i'd met her.
Sorry you never got to see me married, to be honest I don't want to be. I'm happy leading the single life.
I promise to keep in touch with Wendy for you as i'm sure that would be your wish.
Go now and rest in peace.

Wendy: I felt a stab of shock and pain at the news of your beloved's passing because of our many talks about how we had finally found a man who is/was so special and wonderful. How lucky we are for having these wonderful men share our lives and bring us such joy. The memories and love you shared will be with you always and please remember that you also gave him the happiest last 5 years of his life. God bless you and you will be in my prayers.

Paul,
you will be missed more than you ever could have imagined. You were truly a remarkable man, full of love, of life, of compassion. You have touched my life in a way that no one else ever has nor ever will.
I will cherish every moment we had together, and the memories of what we shared, the plans we had for the future....i will keep those alive and in my heart for always, until we are able to be together again.
I love you deeply, my wonderful knight in rusty, dented armor!!

R.I.P Dad....You were a giant amongst men, and it was my honour to have walked in your shadow all these years....now when you get to the Pearly Gates....remember you were a soldier once....stand tall once more, brace your back and make the big man salute you. When you get the chance old man....look down from those heady heights and know that you will live on forever in my memories and those of us fortunate enough to have been blessed with having some small part in your life. You need not fear for mum, for she will always be a most significant part of mine, Renae's, Lily's and Daniel's lives and i will ensure she gets to tell her grand children just how awesome you were in person.
TAKE CARE DAD.....YOU MADE ME THE MAN I AM TODAY xxxxx

I was so sorry to hear the sad news about Paul on Thursday. Our condolences to Wendy and her family as well as to my cousins Jo, Nicki, Mike and Steve and their families - and of course to Paul's sons and grandchildren here in UK.
Paul had a wonderful sense of humour and I will always remember him for this in particular and for his good nature and ability to bounce back after some tough times in his life. We were often in touch on Facebook and I often showed mum pictures of Paul and Wendy in Canada. She was always so interested to see how he was getting on.
My mother, his aunt Dodie, (who doesn't use the internet) asked me to pass on her condolences to everyone who knew and loved Paul. Were are thinking of you at this very difficult time.
RIP Paul

Goodbye baby brother .I will miss you so much
Although we loved him dearly we could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us.
He only takes the best.
He saw the roads were getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. So he closed your weary eyelids and whispered peace be thine.
So happy to have seen you so recently ,so sad to see you go Paul.
Rest in Peace .We'll catch up later.
