Obituary of Frederick Keller

Keller, Fred - After a brave fight with cancer and Alzheimer's on October 10, 2013 at Meadows of Dorchester at the age of 85. He was able to keep his wit and make us laugh through this tough time. Fred will be deeply missed by his loving wife Mary Ann of 45 years and stepson Rick who made his last days so happy. Survived by his 5 sisters-in-law and 4 brothers-in-law. Cherished grandpa of Trudi and great granddaughter to Lateesha. Will be fondly remembered by his goddaughter Shelley, godson Edward and their families, cousins Sandi (Bob), and friend Julia who kept his Polish heritage alive. Predeceased by his parents Stanislav and Stefania, brother Edmund, brother-in-law Raymond and aunt Harriet. Fred was a veteran of the Korean War, and past service officer of his legion. He was a 25 year retiree of General Motors. He loved animals and gardening. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Pang and caring staff on Primrose. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 316 Queenston Road, on Wednesday at 11am. Burial will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
