I was sad to hear of uncle Eddies passing. As a small child I have fond memories of visiting him and my great aunty Joan at their home. I smile when I think of him and how he used to tease my sister and me and say yak-y-da boyo. I remember him laughing and smiling cheerfully. I have only happy memories of him, he was a very kind and gentle man.

I was very young when you & Aunty Joan went to live in Canada, but will always remember how you loved to tease & joke with us, & how you called us all 'boyo'! I'm so glad that you got to meet Georgia, & wish that you could have met Jack too - you two would have gotten on so well. You were a lovely man, Uncle Eddie, & you will always be remembered with much love & a smile. Rest in peace,& try not to make the angels giggle too much! xxxxxxxxxx

We'll always remember Eddie with much affection. He was a big part of my life as I (Derek)was growing up,& we shared many happy times & lots of laughter with him, especially Saturday afternoons watching The Blues.I'll always remember watching him play in goal for Lucas (I think it was)with Roger.I still have a Bible that he brought back for me from war service in the Middle East.He was a really lovely man.

A favourite Uncle from my childhood, always joking, squeezing my knees (Brian) not Doreen.
I remember seeing a photo of him loading bombs onto an aircraft in the far east where he served in the RAF.
Still got a real leather wallet he gave me when he came home.Fondly remembered.
Rest in Pease Uncle Eddie (boyo) a true Welsh gentle man.
