Obituary of Aniello Miele

MIELE, Aniello- Passed away with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, November 19th, 2013 at the St Catharines Hospital at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Teresa. Cherished father of Saverio (Steve) and Pina Miele, Pasquale (Pat) and Alma Miele, Gennaro (Gerry) and Barbara Miele and Mario and Patrica Miele. Loving Nonno of Nello, Lena, Teresa, Aniello, Emilio, Andrea, Christopher, Stephen, Julia, Katelyn, Michael and Kassandra. Special brother of Gennaro(Raffaela) Miele and Salvatore(Rosa) Miele. Aniello was predeceased by his sisters Maria Riggi, Anna Partinico, Emmanuela Trinchese, Carlotta Perna and his brothers Vincenzo Miele and Giuseppe Miele. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews in France, Italy and Canada. The family wish to extend a sincere thank you to all of the doctors, nurses and staff at the St. Catharines Hospital- I.C.U. for all of their care and compassion. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday, November 24th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place on Sunday at 3p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street on Monday, November 25th at 11a.m. Rite of Committal at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to St. Catharines Hospital - I.C.U. would be appreciated by the family.
