Dear Marilyn,Kirk,Kim,Greg and extended Family
Only hearing the sad news today...My heart is broken for you all. I remember Dave/your Father playing guitar at our place, as a child, in Ironville. Oh,how I loved to hear him sing. My favorite song he sang was "Don't you knock on my door". His gentle ways and big smile are the first things that come to mind when I think of him. Also,I knew that he held a very special place in my Father's heart.
God bless you all! Love, prayers and heart-felt sympathies.

I am deeply sadden at the loss of a true gentle man! He was an inspiration to me as a young Administrator in the Lincoln Board. He was always approachable and helpful. I will always remember his guitar playing at our Principal Retreats and we fondly called him the "Cod Father"! I will miss his hearty laugh and his friendly manner. May God be with you all.

Marilyn, and family, so sorry to hear in London, Ontario of Dave's passing. A wonderful man who I first met through the Kinsmen, I believe. My last memory of Dave is our chatting like two old souls on one of the streets in behind the Lincoln Mall,we chatted for about an hour about family, work, and life. He also was good guidance for my step-daughter, Tracy,as he had the pleasure of being her teacher. I am honoured to have known Dave, and may he rest in peace. May God comfort you all during your time of loss.
Sincerely,
Geoff Peterson, London, Ontario.

As a childhood friend of Kim's, our families were closely connected. I remember many good times with our circle of friends...all of which involved Dave playing guitar and singing!! I do believe the night I made my entrance to the world occured after a gathering at the MacDonald house. So many memories.
I extend my deepest condolences to your family at this time. We remember Dave so fondly.....he will be missed.
