Obituary of John Lamers

LAMERS, John Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Monday, December 2nd, 2013 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of 54 years of Theresia. Cherished father of David (Debbie) and much-loved opa of Jack. John is also survived by 3 sisters in the Netherlands, many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Linhaven for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Thursday, December 5th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of John's life will take place on Friday, December 6th at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Memorial donations to Linhaven Home for the Aged or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
