LA MONTAGNA, Antonio Passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home with his loving wife Inge, his son Pasquale, and daughter in-law Miruka by his side on Tuesday, December 3rd. He was diagnosed with cancer and passed away at the age of 74. He was born in Marigliano Naples, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1962. Him and his loving wife Inge worked together as hair dressing professionals and had owned their own salons. He spent most of his years living in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia where he moved to in 1984 with his wife and 4 year old son Pasquale. He had always enjoyed fishing, golfing, and especially road trips with his camper. He was very well known for his hard work, good humor, and his wine. Many loved him and was never short of making good friends and he always made time for his family in Calgary. He was a great man and will be missed by many. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass for Antonio will be celebrated on Thursday, December 12th at St. Alfred's Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines at 11am. If desired, memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
