Obituary of Helen Eden Body

Body, Helen Peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of William for 33 years. Loving mother- in- law of Margaret Epp, and Linda Epp. Dear step mother of Dale Jurkin, and Janel Dreidiger. Helen is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and her life long friend Winnie Allen. Predeceased by her sons David Epp, and Calvin Epp,and her step daughters Cheryl Dupuis, and Corinne Hunter. Helen was employed as a receptionist with the City of St. Catharines for 19 years, and a member of the St. Catharines Golf & Country Club. Helen was loved by all who knew her, and will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her many family and friends. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at Extendicare, and Garden City Manor for their kind and compassionate care. Friends may visit at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service celebrating Helen's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, January 9th at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Walker Cancer Centre, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
