Obituary of Beatrice Mary McGarr

McGarr, Beatrice Mary (nee Waterhouse) Peacefully passed away at Heidehof Home on Monday, January 6, 2014 at the age of 88. Beloved mother of Sharon, Rick (Carolanne), Robert, Ron (Lynda), Karen (Bill), Arthur and Russ (Tammy). Loving Grandma B to sixteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Beatrice was predeceased by her eight brothers and sisters. Beatrice enjoyed many years of watching her family grow. She will be remembered by teaching her family how to play cards and other games. Beatrice also enjoyed gardening and playing Bingo. A special thank you to the staff on the second floor at Heidehof Home for their care and support. In accordance with Beatrice's wishes cremation has taken place. A private family Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL 585 Carlton St. on Saturday, January 11, 2014. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the St. Catharines Association for Community Living.
