Obituary of Marge Morrice
MORRICE, Marjorie Edna (Glover)
November 20, 1931 - January 11, 2014
Passed away unexpectedly at home. Predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Edward Cooper Morrice on September 30, 2011. Mom leaves to mourn her children, Cathy (Jim) Smith, Linda Morrice, Peggy (Kevin) Cowling and Bruce (Julie Petroski) Morrice. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Amanda (Marc) Pistor, Brianne (Maze) Freiwat, Russell (Ginger) Smith, Kirsten Litke, Rebecca (Eric) Smith and her great-granddaughter, Amelia Freiwat. The family would like to thank Mom's amazing neighbours, Don, Lil and Harry, Clyde and Lori and Glenis and Gary for keeping an eye on Mom. Mom didn't know it but she had her own personal neighbourhood watch. The family would also like to thank the Niagara Regional Police Service, Niagara EMS and the St. Catharines Fire Department for their compassion and professionalism.
Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, January 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Given Marge's love for animals, children and her visual impairment, memorial donations to the Lions Foundation of Canada Guide Dogs would be appreciated by the family.
