Obituary of Helena, Margaret "Helene" Cooke

Cooke, Helena Margaret (Helene) Peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Monday, March 10, 2003 in her 86th year. Cherished and beautiful mother of Cynthia Di Poce, Rosalind and her husband Larry Tracey, and Roberta and her husband Bill Dawson. Beloved "Gran" of Daniel, Mathew, Stephanie, Roy, Eric and Jane. Helene taught music for the Lincoln County Board of Education in St. Catharines for more thatn 30 years. She was approached warnly and respectfully by former students and parents wherever she went. A private visitation for immediate family took place on Tuesday, March 11, 2003 at the George Darte Funeral Chapel. A quiet and serene service was conducted by Reverend Gordon Kinkley in the funeral chapel on Wednesday, March 12, 2003. Interment in Milton Evergreen Cemetery in Milton, Ontario followed on Thursday, March 13, 2003. Helene will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by everyone whose life she touched.
