Obituary of Terence "Terry" McCann

McCann, Terence "Terry" After a courageous battle that was fought with dignity and strength, Terry passed away while surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, December 22nd, at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 65th year. Beloved husband for 41 years of Doreen, loving father of Karen Thompson (Collin) and proudest grandfather "Goggy" of Cameron. Remembered by many relatives in Northern Ireland. Terry was born in Belfast on September 13, 1940 and came to Canada in 1970. He was a longtime employee of Siemens-Westinghouse and enjoyed golf, reading and most of all his family. He was our guiding light and we will miss him dearly. In accordance with Terry's wishes, cremation has taken place. His family will receive friends and family at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street from 6pm-7pm on Wednesday, December 29th, with a Memorial Service to take place in the Funeral Home chapel at 7pm. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers would be appreciated by the family.
