Obituary of Boleslaw "Bill" Abramowicz

ABRAMOWICZ, Boleslaw (Bill) Passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, May 1st in his 81st year. Devoted husband of Alexandra of 52 years. Loving father of John and wife Janice, Jerry, Helen and husband Joel Abelson and Andrew and wife Elan. Grandpa to Peter, Andrew, Sarah, Leah, Alanah, David, Heather and Marc. He will be missed by his brother Jim, sisters Jane and Linda and their children. Predeceased by his parents Bonifacy and Maria. Bill was a veteran of World War II as a member of the Polish Army who fought at the Battle of Monte Cassino. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, May 7th at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A special thanks to the caring staff of Shaver Hospital, St. Catharines General Hospital and the Hamilton Regional Cancer Centre.
