Obituary of Grace Borbas
BORBAS, Grace "Gizela" (nee Lenart)
1924-2014
Passed away quietly on Wednesday Feb 12th, 2014 at the age of 90.
Grace was predeceased by her husband Colman, daughter Elizabeth and brother Joe.
Grace and Joe emigrated to Canada in the mid thirties settling in Saskatchewan.
She is survived by two half sisters Grace Bevan and Joyce Herridge, grandson Cole McClean, nieces Mary, Edie, Barb and nephew Marc.
Grace was a tireless homemaker and volunteer worker for her church and the Hotel Dieu Hospital.
Grace's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, February 24th from 10-11:15am. A Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:30am. Rite of Committal to follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
