Obituary of Kenneth "Ken" Herbert Jones

JONES, Kenneth Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 17th, 2014 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of 61 years of Pearl. Much loved father of Philip (Wendy), Richard (Kathryn) and Gregory (Michie). Dear granddad of Marcella, Natalie, Alexandra, Evan, William, Kai and Amilia. Ken will be fondly missed by his sister Phyllis, his brother Wilf, his sisters-in-law Marjory and Joan, and many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his sister Marjorie. Ken emigrated to Canada in 1953 from England. He retired from TRW Canada after 30 years of service. He loved swimming, curling, fishing, travelling and enjoyed his daily crossword puzzles. What Ken loved most was spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, February 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Ken's life will take place on Friday, February 21st at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow.
