Obituary of Rejean Martel

MARTEL, Rejean "Reg" Passed away peacefully on March 5th, 2014 at Henley House at the age of 79. Loving husband and best friend of Joan. Devoted father of Lynn Mignone and Mark (Sheila) and Neil (Krista) Martel, and cherished grandfather "Bubba" of David Mignone and Michael, Kevin, Laura, Reid and Marley Martel. Also survived by his brothers Roger (Violet) and Armand (Jackie), brother in law Lou (Rita) Bennett, and his many nieces and nephews. The family extends sincere thanks to the staff at Henley House for their compassionate care and support over the past 5 years. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. The Martel family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, March 8th from 10:30-11:15 am with a Memorial Service following in the chapel at 11:30am. All are invited following the service for a reception in the Kristen French Fellowship Hall at the funeral home. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
