Obituary of Debbie Burghall
BURGHALL, Debbie (nee Cameron)
Suddenly, after a brief illness, Debbie passed away on Tuesday, March 18th, 2014 in her 57th year. Beloved wife of 36 years of Tom. Much loved mother of Jason (Carrie). Cherished daughter of Ian and the late Joan Cameron and daughter-in-law of the late Art and the late Edna Burghall. Much loved sister of Gord (Nancy), Tracey (Bill) Taylor, and sister-in-law of Jim (Joanne), Don (Kathleen), Rob (Sue), Barb (Rick). Best friend of Sue Brady. Debbie will also be fondly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and her dog Scooby.
Debbie was deeply involved for over 20 years at the family-owned company, Cameron Trucking. She was an avid fan of stock car racing, and will be missed by the Knapp brothers and the rest of the racing enthusiasts. Debbie also loved to travel.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses at the St. Catharines General Hospital for all of their help over the past couple of days. They would also like to acknowledge all of Debbie's business associates over the years.
In keeping with Debbie's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, on Friday, March 21st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, March 22nd at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Rankin Cancer Run or Tender Wishes would be appreciated by the family.
