Hi Moe,
I'm so sorry to have just heard about Jerry's passing. I wish I could have been there on the 6th. Jerry was a very important person in my life and I'm so sad he is gone. you and him did so much for me as a young kid during our days at SCRC. those were some of the funniest times. we were a solid family and I looked forward to my time there rowing everyday. jerry was so committed to rowing and I know he treated each of us like we were family. all the great breakfasts and regatta weekends I will remember forever. the sculling technique that he taught me became the foundation of my ability to coach. I can never repay him for his time but I do pay it forward to a new generation of athletes everyday at DM, SCRC and Brock. I doubt I would have developed many of the values I have today if it was not for him. jerry will always remain in my mind and heart whenever I'm out there in the coach boat. his knowledge of rowing will continue on through me and all of the athletes he coached during his many years. with much love, Zach plug.
