Obituary of Hendrikus (Henry) Hubertus Langelaan

LANGELAAN, Hendrikus (Henry) Hubertus- May 23, 1938 to April 13, 2014 - In his 76th year, Henry passed away peacefully at his home of 49 years on April 13, 2014 with his beloved family nearby. Beloved husband of Ann Langelaan (Sneek) of 50 years. Loving father, father in law and grandfather of John (Diane, Cory, Jamie); Sandra; Julie (Jim, Sarah, Benjamin) and Kevin (Sue, Jeremy, Bethany, Daniel). Survived by many loving, immediate and extended family. Many thanks to the CCAC Palliative Care Team and the Para Med Care Staff for all of their support. Thank you also to George Darte Funeral Chapel. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, April 15th from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. Vigil Prayers will take place on Tuesday at 3:30p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Parish, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, April 16th at 11a.m. Burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston Street to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Niagara Warehouse of Hope -Project Africa.
