Obituary of Vera Ethel Taras
TARAS,Vera (nee Monchak)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, sister and Baba on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at the age of 73. Beloved wife of the late Zenon. Loving and cherished mother of Patricia (late Tym) Hrycusko, Natalie (Romeo) Wawrow and Greg (Pat). Cherished Baba of Noah, Kyla, Talya (Scott), Adrianna, Kalyna and Kristyn. Dearest sister of Christine Yakymishen (Brian McKillop). Vera was very loving and caring to her family and friends, and will be greatly missed by all. She was a long time active member of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. George. The family would like to express their heart felt thanks to all of the staff at the United Mennonite Home for their most loving care and compassion.
Mrs. Taras' family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 8 to 9 am. Funeral Services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 9 am. A private family interment will be held. If desired, expressions of sympathy may be made to the United Mennonite Home in Vineland or the Charity of your Choice.
