Obituary of Michael Tomiak

TOMIAK, Mike (Mychajlo) Passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 24th at the age of 91 in St.Catharines. He will be greatly missed by his devoted and cherished wife of 60 years Rosabelle, his children Anne (Peter Elmhirst), Linda (Blair Beadow), Michael (Laurie), grandchildren Alexander, Angela, Jamie, Lindsey and great grandchildren Luca and Carson. Mike worked 33 years at Spruce Falls in Kapuskasing, and had a tireless passion for carpentry and gardening in his spare time. A heartfelt thank you to the Linhaven Home nursing staff for their exceptional care. Mr. Tomiak's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, on Sunday, April 27th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, Panachyda will be held at 7 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, April 28th at 9:30 am in the Chapel. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
