Was so shocked and saddened to hear of Nathan's passing. I got to know Nathan through attending floral workshops at the Watering Can. He was always so cheerful and just seemed to love life. I will most definitely miss seeing his smiling face and miss hearing him call out my name whenever I walked into the store. My thoughts and prayers go out to Nathan's family during this very difficult time.

To Nathans family, please except our sincere condolences. Nathan was very good friends with my daughter Becky Hiebert (who is in Paris right now and is very sorry she cannot be here). I have so many fond memories of Nathan being at our house with Becky, Mindy and Katie. He was always well manored and such pleasant young man. I watched them grow together from silly kids in grade 7 and 8 to wonderful adults..I havent seen Nathan in years, but we were facebook friends and I have been able to keep in touch that way. I cannot imagine the loss you are feeling right now, please know we feel lucky to have known him. Rest in Peace Nathan. The Hieberts.

To my old friend Karen, it is with great sadness that I saw this obituary and remembered an adorable little baby with chubby cheeks and a cute smile.... he grew up to be such an awesome person as evidenced by all the wonderful condolences that I have read.... how proud you must be that your son made a difference in this world... I am truly sorry that he has passed....to Sharmaine, Claudette, Steven and Mona, I am thinking of all of you at this very difficult time... out of the darkness comes a small trickle of light and I am just thankful that I had an opportunity to have this obituary come to me via my cousin who had no idea that I knew all of you so long ago. I am sorry that I am unable to make it to see you all personally. I welcome contact with all of you again.... please accept hugs from me... Chris

I wanted to give Nathan some flowers (with extra pretty curling ribbon, as you would do for me) after all the flowers, smiles, and kindnesses, he provided to me and my family by serving us with a most caring heart at The Watering Can.

Sending my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Nathan. I did not know Nathan well...but wanted to tell you how he made such a big difference at a very hard time for myself...his kindness, consideration, patience, friendliness, and sweet demeanor when assisting me at The Watering Can during a recent loss of a most dear family member made a heartbreaking time a little more bearable...and for that I will be forever grateful. Sometimes a little gesture by one person can unknowingly make a huge impact on someone's life...and Nathan's comforting ways when I lost my dear Aunt touched my heart and soul forever. Thank you and bless you dear Nathan...I know the world will miss that very special touch you had.
With lots of love and so much sympathy,
Liz Smith xo

Dear Jill, Jodie, Steve, Chrissy, Larry and extended family. I am truly sorry to hear of Nathan's passing. I met Nathan on a trip to St. Catharine's with Joyce. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy at this time. It is so difficult when this happens but just know that he is in a better place and will be welcomed with 'open arms' by Cal, Joyce and others who have gone before him!!! From all his friends on Facebook, he sounded like he was a very special person and will be truly missed by all. Just know that my heart goes out to you right now. Remembering all the goods times/memories you had with him 'will' help...I still miss Cal and Joyce immensely but try to always remember the good times. With love and sympathy....hugs xoxo....Georgina
