Obituary of Kathleen "Kay" Storin

STORIN, Kathleen "Kay" Madeline (nee Deasy) Dec 15, 1922 - May 22, 2014 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Kathleen Storin on Thursday May 22nd, 2014 in her 92nd year at Tufford Nursing Home. Predeceased by her beloved husband Donald Storin, twin sister Geraldine, sister Anna, brother Jim and great niece Cheryl. She will be lovingly missed by her niece Teresa Nelson whom she shared a mother/daughter/best friend relationship, Teresa's husband Rick, great nephew Derek and his fiancée Alessandra, who thought and loved her as a grandmother along with other nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Kay was an avid golfer for many years and also volunteered with the Friends of Linhaven, but her greatest pleasure was her family and she will be missed. Sweet dreams, Aunt Kay. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, May 28th from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. A celebration of Kay's life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m. Memorial donations can be made to the Friends of Linhaven or to the Rankin Cancer Run.
