Obituary of Carole Jane Stout
STOUT, Carole
It is with our deepest regret that we announce the passing of Carole, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the Port Colborne Hospital, in her 67th year. Beloved wife of 45 years to Barney. Loving Mom of Kristin (Mark) Cottringer and John Stout. Special Nana of Tyler and Emily Cottringer. Dear sister of Jackie (Terry) McKnight, Cathy (Mike) Goddard, Cindy (Roger) Chaisson, David Lloyd, and sister-in-law to Susan Erskine and Barbara Day. Carole will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to all staff at the Port Colborne Hospital for their compassionate care. In accordance with Carole's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation for Carole will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Monday, June 2, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Carole's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. In memory of Carole, donations may be given to the Rankin Cancer Run.
